Pictures of Alexisonfire,

Boys Night Out are up!

need to install anything anymore.

If you don’t have a ticket yet get your ass down to Place Riel
and and lay down 13 well spent $’ars.

If you didn’t even know that Alexisonfire and many other great
bands and playing Friday then you don’t go to
www.threeohsix.org enough and for shame
on you!

I’m done finals!  Freedom oh glorious freedom!
You know what I did yesterday…NOTHING…you know what I’m going to do
today NOTHING!  It’s great!I am trying out a new way of posting
pictures called Gallery. It allows slide shows, pictures resize to your
screen, and I can even let you leave comments for each picture.  I am
going to be using it for the next few updates.  If you think it really
sucks, is way to slow, or if you like it better e-mail me as I want to make
the site friendly as possible for the people who go here.

Remember a while back I said I had a “surprise”?!

Well for the last two years I have been taking pictures at shows but have
only been posting the pictures of the bands…due to popular demand I went
through all my pictures and picked out the ones that I never put up – but
contain the people who make up the scene. You may find it boring, it may
bring back memories but here are the people
without the bands

April 20, 2004

Morally Sound and
Edo Varus when they played at Ryley’s last
Thursday.  Enjoy!

April 18th, 2004

Pictures of Junior Pantherz
are The Pixies are up!!!  That was an
amazing show and it was an honor to listen to a part of music history. I have
never been to a show with such a diverse age group of listeners. There were 40
year olds in the pit, and kids who weren’t even born when the pixies broke up 12
years ago.

Just like with AFI, it was great too see soooo many people out to a show.
Prarieland was sold out which I think means over 2000 people. I know a lot of
you are reading this, and I must encourage people to come out to other local
Saskatoon shows, because I know that there is a larger “scene” out there. They
just need to come to more shows!  The local scene has a lot to offer, and
if more and more people come out to shows then the scene (along with the bands
that play, and the bands that come to Saskatoon) will grow. If you had fun last
night, come out to the shows at The Bassment, Wash ‘n Slosh, Louis’, The Pat,
Lydia’s, Le Relais, Ryly’s, and any hall, house, or field where bands play. The
Pixies, just like EVERY BAND started out in places like these, come check them
out.

April 16th, 2004

Last Saturday I took a well enjoyed break from studying and went
and saw Parades Against Parades,
Tombstone Diaries,
and Means when they played at Le Relais on April
10th.   Enjoy the pictures!  Only one final left. See you at the
Pixies!

April 11th, 2004

Happy Easter Everyone!  Remember that it isn’t all
about Jesus’  resurrection and Easter eggs. It’s also about going to
Wal-Mart the day after Easter for 50% off chocolate! Thanks to Aaron for
the picture!

4 finals left, wish me luck!

April 7th, 2004

What happens when you have 120 Engineers, 3 kegs of beer, and
10 minutes to drink it all?

The Annual Year End
Keg Suck !

April 6th, 2004

The Waking Eyes
and The Trews when they played @ The Pat
last Thursday.

No Moneen pictures sorry, but I hope if you went you had a good
time and well… I must say I am now officially “in finals” so I won’t be
updating much for the next couple weeks so you can just not bother coming here
much for the next while……………but……. …………………don’t
forget about me!!!       I also have a “surprise”
for all you…. but you’ll have to wait for that……

April 4th, 2004

I should have advertised this a long time ago but MONEEN is at
Louis’ tomorrow night (Monday). Provided I can get my million (4) assignments
done in time I’ll be there and once again if your not as lame as me you should
be too!!!

THEN!  On Tuesday @ Lydia’s  The
Pinch
with Joey and the Truth Hurts.  What a good way to end
classes!?  (What’s with the question mark you ask?….Exactly!)

April 3rd, 2004

Not Very Punk, but still everyone loves
The Proclaimers !

April 2nd, 2004

DFA @ Sparky @ The Wash ‘N Slosh TONIGHT!!!!   Two of Saskatoon’s
best bands in one night. If your not super lame like me and have to study for
finals so I don’t get kicked out of Engineering then GO GO GO!!!

Also two great shows in Regina coming up!
Ten Foot Pole @ The Exchange  TOMORROW NIGHT! (Get some friends
together and drive down to see them) as well

May 20th  Death by Stereo and (see poster) at the U of R !

Will punkoryan finally be able to see Death by Stereo after missing them
the last three times they have come? Lets hope!

April 1st, 2004

First off you should join the
Bell Walk for Kids
but along with that my friend is organizing this wonderful event and the
band Butterfinger has volunteered to play for free at the end of the walk.
The only problem though is that Butterfinger doesn’t have a PA system and
Kids Help Phone (being a non-profit organization) can’t afford to rent one:SOOOOOOOOO!!!  (Guess where this is going)

If ANYONE reading this has a PA system they could lend for free on Sunday
May 2nd it would be awesome and you would be doing a most charitable thing.
If you are a company then your name would be listed in the sponsors list on
TV and Print and it would only be for about 2 hours + setup/takedown in the
afternoon.

What is needed is 4 vocal mics (+ whatever mics for drums, amps, etc), a
PA, a 24ch mixer, and a “DI” (whatever that is).

If anyone can offer some or any of this please
e-mail me. Thanks!

Pictures are up of

Shackelford
, Kiros,
The Chunks, and
Jacketbox

Enjoy!

March 26th. 2004

GO TO THE SHACKELFORD SHOW TONIGHT!!!     @
Cosmo Senior Center beside The Hose

I’m studying for finals = not updating much so “don’t check back
as often”

March 24th, 2004

So remember way back last year when I had an “evil” cell
phone?  Well I cancelled the contract after the free 4 month term, but
accidentally (well actually more like deliberately) overpaid 1 penny on my
last bill and ever since (almost a year now) I have received a bill, every
month, stating that I have a credit of 1 cent. What’s funny is that it has
certainly cost Rogers way more than a penny to send me a bill every month,
so I figure I am doing my part to slowly bring down those annoying cell
phones 1 penny at a time!

March 21st, 2004

+ Shackelford is having their CD Release on Friday night @ The
Cosmo Senior Center (beside the Hose) and opening for them are The Chunks (which
are basically The Portmans w/o horns) so it will be a great show and YOU (yes
you!) should go and buy the new Shackelford CD and sing Pirate songs and the
like.

March 19th, 2004

Up By Default! its Pictures of
Default
and Ian Thornley from Monday
Night @ The Pat  !!!   Enjoy!

March 18th, 2004

Well you can tell from my locker I am all ready to study for finals!
I have a midterm on Friday = I can’t go to this show… BUT YOU SHOULD!!!

Blood Music,  Junior Pantherz, and The Paper*Kites

@ The Bassment  tonight  (show up at 7:30pm I’d assume…)

The Paper*Kites will be selling their new CD and the show is a
fundraiser for CFCR so go!

March 17th, 2004

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

This old lady was riding the bus this morning. Do you have that kind of spirit? I know I sure don’t! But I’ll still drink my green beer!

Speaking of that… HAPPY BIRTHDAY KWEKU!!!

March 16th, 2004

Up by popular demand (I was getting e-mails telling me to
hurry up with the pictures!)

DFA,
Cowpie,
One Stone Dog, and
The Decline

March 15th, 2004

Thanks be to Drabble for finding my Mad Caddies Bunnyhug!Yes, Yes,  “Forgetful punkoryan” left his bunnyhug on a speaker at the
show on Feb 6th and someone must have moved it because Drabble found it
behind the stage a few days later.  I guess all those threatening
accusations weren’t in order, but funny non the less.

As promised, punch and pie was served in his honor.   I must
also give thanks to all of the people who sent me e-mails with “leads” and
sightings of my bunnyhug, one of which which turned out that the person they
saw wearing my bunnyhug was me!

Check back tomorrow for pictures from Friday night.

March 14th, 2004

For all of you who *didn’t* go to Regina on Thursday night you
sure did miss:

Mad Caddies,
Choke,
Irish Car Bomb
, Closet Monster, and
last but certainly not least Pulley

March 12th, 2004

I have a million pictures of last night in Regina to put up,
but first….It’s coming!  A storm is a’broo’in and we are suppose
to get 15cm of snow!  Now rather than the normal “when will winter
end!?” response to that I must urge you to take advantage of this probable
last chance you may have to enjoy the snow that we have all grown up and
taken for granted as simply an inconvenience.

So dig out your old toboggan or crazy carpet (or ask your neighbors to
borrow theirs like I am) and go to pest hill!   Or make a snow
angel, snowman, or have a snow ball fight!  It’s your last chance, use
it wisely!

Go to the show tonight @ The Bassment!

March 10th, 2004

Pictures of Broken
Social Scene
are up!

Remember to go to DFA/The Decline/One Stone Dog at The Bassment
on Friday (and the show in Regina below).

March 8th, 2004

A show at Louis’ going till almost 1:30am?  On a Sunday
Night?! Every minute was worth it! Pictures of
Raising the Fawn
and  The Stills are
up….. why aren’t the pictures of Broken Social Scene up? Well why else would
you have a reason to come back tomorrow?

March 5th, 2004

When we return the gnomes they will have some amazing
stories to tell :)Xel-Ha, The Beach, and Scuba Diving

Underwater

March 2nd, 2003

A good idea.  I always wake up at least an hour
after my parents have gone off to work and therefore have always had
to make my own coffee.  The problem with this was that they were
making a pot of coffee and throwing away half of it, and then I would
make a pot of coffee and throw it away. (Wow is this boring to you I
know) but now the super duper smart solution has been for my dad to
just dump the remainder of his coffee in an urn and put a little
sticky note with “Good Morning Ryan its -30 out so dress warm :)” or
something like that. Now sure this may sound super lame (and yes
they could just leave the hot pad on to keep the pot warm) but it is
fresher this way and my parents don’t have to worry about me not
turning the burner off and burning down the house.

I really hate wasting food, and coffee is something I particularly
feel bad about because I know some guy in  South America had to
slave his ass off for 16 hours a day so I could wake up in the
morning.  If you feel the same way (or if you don’t) you should
really learn more about

FAIR TRADE COFFEE
. Basically in a typical cup of coffee you buy
only 2cents actually goes to the guy slaving his ass off to feed is
family.  Fair Trade Coffee, which costs a bit more, ensures that
more money is going to to the farmers. Browsers on campus sells fair
trade coffee and the more people know about it the better. So even
though this started out pretty damn boring I hope you check out the
link above and think before you drink! (coffee that is).

February 29th, 2004

I must really emphasize how much you should save
your pennies and go to these shows.

I used to advertise shows a lot more, but since
you all should already know about
www.threeohsix.org
you can check your damn self!

There are a lot of great shows coming up in
March including DFA/The Decline/One Stone Dog at the Bassment on the
12th. DFA has always been “one of those bands” that got me
into the scene and music I listen to today. If you have never seen
them before check them out as they are in my opinion the best hardcore
band to come out of this city.

You should also save up some gas money and trip it down to
Regina on the 11th to see
MAD CADDIES, PULLEY, CHOKE, IRISH CAR BOMB,
CLOSET MONSTER @ the Riddell Center. Remember to
e-mail Surreal Productions if
you are an out-of-towner so you can get your ticket ahead of time rather than
driving 3hrs to Regina and finding out the show is sold out (been there done
that) also while your on the website check out who’s playing on April 3rd (you
may be pleasantly surprised)

Also speaking of Mad Caddies I still haven’t got my bunny
hug back after it was stolen at the 306benifit show on the 6th (also my birthday
might I add)…. so I must once again reiterate that if you see anyone wearing a
black, zip-up bunnyhug (a.k.a “hoodie”) with Mad Caddies on the ass missing
the pull chords out of the hood please feel free to kick their ass and return
the bunnyhug to me!

A reward will be given and banquet of appreciation will be
held for the hero who returns my beloved Mad Caddies bunnyhug (punch and pie
will be served)

February 27th, 2004

So remember over a month ago when I
was like “I interviewed Yellowcard for The Sheaf and will put it up on
here right away” …. well to be perfectly honest I completely forgot
about it but now, for all of you who didn’t read “the best Sheaf ever
because punkoryan wrote in it” you can read my
Yellowcard
Interview
Also, for those of you who
didn’t scroll down, there are 552 new pictures of Mexico down there!

February 24th, 2004

Happy Birthday Tera! (notice the gift I
got her in Cancun!)So now Tera only has one week to move out (see
January Ramblings) and if she doesn’t find a place she will be
sleeping on my couch which isn’t as big a deal as all the boxes that I
know will be piled up in my room!

So once again, if anyone needs or knows someone who needs a
roommate (guys or girls doesn’t matter)
e-mail me!

Also there are over 600 more pictures of Mexico to come so check
back!

I am really really sorry that I didn’t update again when I
was down there but the one day I went downtown to get to a cyber cafe
Tara and I accidentally caught the wrong bus and “kinda got lost” in
downtown and then by the time we found the bus to get back to the
hotel it was too late to update :( I was getting over 700
hits a day while I was gone so I know I let a lot of people down, but
on the bright side there are tons of pictures still to come!

February 22nd, 2004

We decided to spend our last day and night at

The Market
once again and experience the
Downtown
Night Life
in the evening.Enjoy!

February 21st, 2004

Imagine an area, 2 hours away from anything, where
three rivers meet and the most amazing fish and sea life collide to
make the most spectacular snorkeling experience… well that is Xel-Ha
and is one of the coolest things I have ever done. We have four rolls
of film to develop for later but until then take an above water
journey of
Xel-Ha
after that we broke from the
typical “spring breakers” theme, dressed up, and went out for a
Fancy
Supper

February 20th, 2004

Having never even seen the ocean before, the waves
were one of my favorite things at
The Beach

After we went to a
Foam
Party
at a bar where they just spray foam onto the dance floor and
well….pardon my political incorrectness but was totally gay!

February 19th, 2004

Yesterday I went Scuba Diving and the pictures from
that are on film so we’ll all have to wait for those, but I did have a
splenda walk along
The
Lagoon

After that we went to

Senior Frogs
, but Tara and I were bored so we Walked Home
drunk and I took some pictures a long the way (surprise surprise)

February 18th, 2004

What better thing to do on a Tuesday than go to
THE MARKET
and then
FAT
TUESDAYS
!

February 17th, 2004

Last Night was a 300 Person, 5 bar crawl. Needless to
say…. Amazing!Enjoy
Pictures of
Day 2
and once again my
Thoughts
on the matter….

February 16th, 2004

I’m in Cancun!!! To view see pictures of my adventures so far go HERE to read what I have to say about it all (if you care) go HERE

Come back in a couple days for more adventures. For as my friend Lindsay said
“Now everyone can go to Cancun through your website!”

February 14th, 2004

What happens when you have NINE people with birthdays
within a week of each other? A huge drunken mess of people
at The Hose
!What I enjoy most about these pictures is that I didn’t take many
of them! It was the first time I have ever looked at pictures on my
website taken by someone else, and I am in them! Someone else was
“documenting” an event (Tera had my camera) and I just get to enjoy
the pictures.

Thank You to everyone who bought me drinks (too many
drinks!) and wished me Happy Birthday and Happy Birthday Gordon, Tera,
Jen, Brent, Brenda, Jeremy, Mike, and “that commerce chick” :)

February 8th, 2004

That would have to be the fastest I have gotten (I know
that’s not a word) pictures up in a long time!

Junior Pantherz
Away from Here The
Wolfnote

Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday
yesterday! It sure was….except!…..Now I’m not going to jump to any
conclusions….but….. SOME ASSHOLE STOLE MY BUNNY HUG (a.k.a. “hooded
sweatshirt”)!!! If you see anyone wearing a bunny hug with MAD CADDIES on
the butt kick their ass (irregardless of whether they are a small child or
crippled elderly person) and e-mail
me
!

February 6th, 2004 —– >>>>IT’S MY
BIRTHDAY!!!!<<<<—–

What Better way to Celebrate than Pictures of
Inward Eye and
The Rumours, followed by going to the
show tonight at
The Bassment, and then The Hose after for some more “celebrating”.

I am now a 21 year old…. time to start bitching more!

February 5th, 2004

I’m going to be spending my Thursday night doing
homework so I can go crazygonuts tomorrow night but as for the rest of you
this is how tonight should go for you:Show up at The Bassment at
6:30

7pm to 7:30pm – North of Shorty

7:45pm to 8:25pm – Cessate

8:40pm to 9:20pm – Sparky

Then at 10:30 catch PHD (the first band I ever photographed BTW) at Ryley’s!

A fun filled evening with a ton of awesome local bands, what more
could you want? (other than to GO TO THE SHOW ON FRIDAY BECAUSE IT’S
BY BIRTHDAY!!!) the end.

February 3rd, 2004

Here are the pics of
BILLY TALENT
!!! Due to God deciding that everything
electronic in my life should either fail or not work properly don’t
expect any pictures for the next few days because these took 3
hours to edit and put up and I’m very grumpy! On the bright
side though… It’s my Birthday on Friday and everybody go to the show
below! www.threeohsix.org

February 2nd, 2004

I really must say wow! That was a good show.
Check back later for all the pictures of Billy Talent, The Rumours,
and Inward Eye !

Oh yeah… and I cordially invite everyone to go to the show at The
Bassment on Friday, not only because of the great bands that are
playing but because IT’S MY BIRTHDAY!!!

January 31st, 2004

You know its a blizzard when #1 you can’t get into
your house and #2 Billy Talent can’t get to their show so they are
playing on Sunday instead which I might have to miss! :(On the
bright side A Whale Exploded!

January 30th, 2004

C’mon! Doesn’t someone want to give this girl a home? Remember back in March of last year my
Good Friend Tera Karol was looking for a roommate? (or rather someone
looking for her to be their roommate…) Well once again Tera is
moving so if you or anyone you know is looking for roommates (Guys
included, she don’t discriminate!)
e-mail me

January 29th, 2004

I have the best bus driver.  We always call him
“the Friday guy” because on Fridays he always announces every street
as we come up to it. He is always cheerful, and as happy that it is
the end of the week as we are.Today over the intercom on the bus he
announced “its a blistering -42C out there so if anyone would like to
be dropped off at the end of their street just let me know.”
Needless to day I took up his offer.

One time when I got on the bus and opened my wallet to get out my
bus pass I realized that I had left my pass on my desk. I told him to
just keep going and I’d catch the next bus but instead he asked “how
far away do you live?” I was only 6 houses away from the bus stop so
he actually waited 2 minutes while I sprinted down the street to my
house to get my bus pass.

Everybody voices their opinion to complain, but never to
compliment. There are a lot of nice people in the world who do things like that
for people and brighten your day for whatever reason.  Always be
sure to let them know the difference they make to you, or better yet,
write a letter to their boss about how good your service, meal,
shopping, transportation experience is. I sure am going to.

In a world full of non stop complaining, a compliment is in order
once in a while.

January 28th, 2004

Well after some screaming, smacking, crying, and cursing
my computer finally will let me update hence:

EVE 6,
Jersey,
Shackelford, and
Wiseacre
Enjoy!   And go to Billy Talent!  $10 @ The Pat on Friday.
Two opening bands “i hear”

January 26thm 2004

Remember back in the day when I always had “friends”
pictures? Well, I got “my little camera” back so now I always have a
camera with me again…and what better thing to photograph than last
nights

Western Pub Crawl
!For those of you who don’t care, I
still have pictures of EVE6, Jersey, Shackelford, and Wiseacre coming
soon. (I just need to get some homework done first!)

January 25th, 2004

Pictures are up of
Yellowcard are up!

January 23rd, 2003

Expect (well don’t expect, but rather hope for)
Pictures of Yellowcard, Eve6, and Jersey on Saturday’ish. The show
was really good and I was surprised as how good a venue The Pat was
(though unfortunate that it couldn’t have been licensed/all-ages
like Louis’)

Also!

Yeah holly crap I didn’t know either but BILLY
TALENT is playing “At The Pat” on Friday January 30th, 2003. Tickets
are a measly $10 and I guess you have to get them from The Pat (look
it up in the phone book or mysask.ca)If you missed them when they
were here in September go see them now, it will be WELL WORTH the
$10!!!

January 21st, 2004

This semester I finally broke down and started using
a day planner to organize my life.

Since I started writing down everything I have to do now
though….holy crap am I stressed out!    I mean like
before I didn’t think about how much stuff I always have on the go.
I just let it come to me day by day, post-it by post-it, but now I
can look ahead at the madness a day, week, or month away and
shutter!  Makes me almost want to stop writing down what I have
to do and continue living in my dream world of
take-it-as-it-comes-at-me…but then again, now rather than
procrastinating something in my head till the last minute, I can
look at it on paper every day and draw a few more circles and arrows
around it!

Enough complaining though because one of the things on the list
is an Interview with Yellowcard and taking pictures of Eve6,
Yellowcard, and Jersey tomorrow night!  Check back on say
Saturday….

January 19th, 2004

Pictures are up of Misery Signals,
White Walls,
Tombstone Diaries, and
Far from Ruin

Enjoy!

January 17th, 2004

Yet another scolding…..That was a fantastic show,
great bands, huge turnout, good venue,

BUT 6+ fights in one night at a show is unacceptable. Nobody needs
that bullshit, bands from other cities wont want to play here, and
once again YOU ARE RUINING IT FOR EVERYONE ELSE!!!

In fact, I would hope that no one who was in any of the fights
would even go to this site because FUCK YOU!

January 16th, 2004

Pictures are up of
The New Jacobin Club,
Polk,  The Modules,  and from Last Saturday
Liars War

Be sure to go to the show TONIGHT!!! (see below)

January 13th, 2004

A creepy amount of Pictures of
THE PINCH are up!

Don’t forget to go to the shows on Thursday and
Friday!

January 10th, 2004

Just a teaser as I took over 200 pictures and need to edit and etc so
check back tomorrow!     Best Pinch Show ever!
Thank you James for the kind words!

January 8th, 2004

Pictures are up of The
Nothing
and Liars War

And now time for a scolding….

Tonight the show was ended early because empty beer
bottles were found in the bathroom. It doesn’t matter who did it, but what
matters is that the show had to be stopped because of one persons
ignorance and stupidity.

I really, really, really hate stupid people who
ruin things for other people. Far too many shows have been shut down for
this same problem. PLEASE, don’t bring alcohol into shows, it is ILLEGAL
and you are just ruining everyone else’s fun because of your selfishness.

You realize the cops only need to come to the Bassment
once and catch underage drinking and IT WILL BE ALL OVER!

If you see someone bringing in booze (or doing anything
stupid) kick their asses out, or find Drabble and he will take care of it.
Don’t be an idiot, there are already too many….

January 7th, 2004

Terror struck me the other day as my mom asked me to
burn a cd for her!  To some of you this may not seem weird, but
my mom doesn’t know how to turn a computer on, let alone copy a cd.She bought the new “Clay Atkins” CD (the guy who got second in
American Idol) and one of the girls at her work wanted a copy.
For some reason I gasped at the idea of my mom breaking a copy write
law and then gave her a long speech about how your not just stealing
from the artists, but from the 20,000 Canadians employed by the music
industry… she felt bad… but then I laughed and told her it was
okay. I copy music all the time (and of course BUY more than my fair
share *point to 350+ cds on my wall*) but still it was weird to hear
my mom ask me to burn a cd for her…. it felt oddly wrong!

There is a contest going on for all the HP reps in
the country to take pictures of “HP Moments” in the stores. The best
pictures win $500 so I’m hoping this one wins!

Well 3 weeks has flown by and now come Monday its back to school.
Funny enough, during school I couldn’t wait till the break because
“then I’ll have time” and then during the break I worked the whole
time and couldn’t wait until school was back cuz “then I’ll have
time”, as it always goes….

January 1st, 2004

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!Sask Place was a blast
and it was great to see so many of my friends! Unfortunately I
didn’t have “my little camera” so no ‘friends’ pictures but my
friend did let me borrow his camera to take some pictures of the
Wheatmonkeys.

Enjoy! And welcome to 2004!

One of “those moments” again…So the other day I
had a deaf customer. He had to talk to me through his wife who he
signed to. As they signed I thought to myself about how “I wish I
knew sign language that would be so cool”. Then, and hour later when
I was in the Future Shop parking lot a guy walked up to my car and
knocked on the window…. he handed me a little card and a pen. I
gave him a couple bucks (er…well more like half a couple bucks)
and then I realized he was a deaf guy selling me sign language
cards!  Isn’t that weird when stuff like that happens?

It begs to question whether the guy wasn’t just some bum
pretending
to be deaf though……I mean like c’mon, if he was
deaf then how could he see me?!

December 27th, 2003

Click “reload” a dozen times :)

Yesterday I worked Future Shop for Boxing Day. All of the
salesmen had to be there at 4:30am so we could be ready for the “door
crashers” when we opened at 6am. It was madness… but then…after a
while…. it wasn’t “that” busy any more. In fact, it was more like a
really busy Saturday. Turned out, The Star Phoenix was suppost to put in
an 8 page color flyer and instead there was only a 1 page black and
white…ouch!  It was still super busy though.

What’s sad is how stupid crazy people are on boxing day.
Pushing each other over for “the deals”. In fact, 95% of the stuff in
stores usually isn’t on sale, but people buy it anyways.

Here in Canada we always have “boxing day sales” but last
week I was on the phone with a girl for tech support and she said to call
back “the day after Christmas”. I was like “Ok, I’ll call back Boxing Day
then”…. she didn’t understand what I was talking about! She had never
heard of “boxing day”, I guess where she lived (in the states) they didn’t
have huge sales or anything “the day after Christmas”….its just another
day.

December 25th, 2003

Merry Christmas Everyone!

We couldn’t afford a manger so Mary has to hold Jesus, but you
get the idea.  If your reading this rather than being with
family, or friends, stop wasting time. If your alone, call your
family and friends. Christmas is the ONE day of the year when
everyone is off of work, spend it wisely. Be with your family, be
with your friends.

December 24th, 2003

Well as a crappy pre-Christmas gift here are the 6
day late pictures of Junior
Pantherz
and Our Mercury

I’ll have way more to write and post on Christmas day a.k.a. a
day off!!

December 22nd, 2003

Pictures of
Voyd
are up WITH VIDEO!!!  Junior Pantherz and Our Mercury
will be soon to follow (“soon” being anywhere from 1 minute to one
week)Enjoy!

December 21st, 2003

As the greed sets in…..

I type this in exhaustion as I stood on my feet from 9am
till 1am 16 hours today. My HP job is just hourly pay which I like because
I don’t have as much pressure to sell as the normal Future Shop salesmen
do. However, today as I was working as a Future Shop salesman and an HP
rep (8 hours each) I had my first true FS Salesmen moment when I got angry
when a customer didn’t buy the extended warrantee (which I would have made
money on). Of course I didn’t get angry at the customer, but after I was
like “What the hell were they thinking?! Why wouldn’t they get that!” Then
it hit me, that normally if I was just on hourly I wouldn’t care if they
got the warrantee or not because it wouldn’t matter to me, but today it
did, and I got a taste of what its like to be on commission like that.

Some guys really like commission, they do well. I do well
too, but I would rather be on hourly. Not because of the money, but
because I find there are two types of salesmen:  The ones who check
their numbers every hour to see what they are at, and the ones who check
at the end of the week. The ones who check all the time are usually a lot
more stressed out as the numbers go up and down, and are big one day, and
nothing the next.

I like getting my “numbers” every 2 weeks in the mail….

December 20th, 2003

Well I don’t have time to put up the Voyd pictures
but I do have a second to throw up my friends’ cat Gorby who they
decided should be pink for the holidays!

December 18th, 2003

Voyd I will miss you!!! :(Due to my working
9a-9pm tomorrow and the next day you will unfortunately have to wait
for the pictures *tears*

BUT I must say that, aside from the fact that don’t have enough
time to sleep let alone edit and post 100 pictures this is
punishment for all the people who took off after Voyd and missed Our
Mercury because they were really good….. not to mention after the
show when DFM and Kevin showed up with three 40’s….

December 17th, 2003

Ok, so I normally just work as the Saskatoon HP Rep
on weekends. I only had two HP shifts during the break which is why
I decided to work full time for Future Shop during the break….WELL!!!  HP asked me if I would like to “pick up some extra
shifts during the break” I said yes because I figured it would just
be a couple extra 4 hour shifts or something…and well….they gave
me SEVENTY ONE HOURS + I am working full time for Future Shop which
means I will be working 12-15 hours a day every day for the next 18
days… on the bright side…*bling bling*  :)

I have also created a new design for punkoryan.com
but its kinda just not working….  yeah…… eventually….Ok so I promised you a crappy rant and now you get it:

What the hell is with those Duracell commercials?
Do they think we are idiots, or are they idiots?  Of course I am
talking about the “Well Consider This” commercials. You know, when they
are like “More Hospitals trust Duracell for their heart monitors than
any other brand…or….”The Rocky Mountain Rescue Crew uses Duracell
Batteries in their flashlights to save lives”… now when I first saw
those commercials I thought it was a little lame but I let it slide
however now the new commercial is “Well Conceder this….On the set of
The Lord of The Rings, they trusted Duracell batteries for their light
meters”  What the hell does it matter?! Why the hell would they say
that? I am never buying copper tops again, or at least until I forget
about their ridicules false advertising that only acts as fuel for
stupid people….which will probably be next Tuesday or something….

Voyd, Junior Panthers, and Dyno Wars    THURSDAY NIGHT
@ The Bassment @ 7:30pm be there or b2

December 15th, 2003

So I will be a blood thirsty Future Shop salesman
during the Christmas break but its all to afford a new camera for me
to play with when I’m not in Finals!Speaking of that, only one
more final to go then I have 3 rants, cd reviews, and will have
pictures from the Voyd show on Thursday.

Speaking of that:

GO TO THE VOYD SHOW ON THURSDAY at the Bassment!  It will be
your last chance to see them ever (or untill they play again).

IF you haven’t heard their new album download it for free at
www.threeohsix.org

Procrastination

Its not just something that applies to doing your
homework, or a project to build something. It is something much larger
that you can unfortunately do with your life and not notice it. We all
push away the small things, but fail to see the larger things in our life
that we procrastinate.

Life choices, deciding to go to school, deciding to change
work, learning that instrument, or asking that girl out.
“Procrastination may lead to problems later, but gives satisfaction now.”
So true, but when you are procrastinating the larger things in life that
isn’t bringing satisfaction. I worked at McDonalds for 4 years.
There were many other, better jobs that I could have worked but instead I
just complied with the clown, knowing there was something better for me,
but procrastinating the act of writing a resume and taking some initiative
to better myself. (Not to say McDonalds is a bad job, but I could have
worked a more fulfilling job).

In conjunction with my last rant, open your eyes and see
what your doing. Think of what you want to do in your life, and think of
what you can do to make that happen. If your happy with the way things
are, then feel confident in that you love the way your life is. If there
is something in your life bugging you, or holding you back, deal with it.
Think of the options in your life, and the doors that you can open
yourself, if you can stop procrastinating.

Procrastination doesn’t always give satisfaction now, it
may be the holding you back now, and will do worse later.

December 5th, 2003

Think of all of the people throughout your life who you at
one time thought were stubborn and stupid, and then it ended up that you
were the one being stubborn, being unenlightened.  That’s a part of
growing up, but still…

Open your eyes

Think of yourself from a third perspective, a year from
now.  Of course you can’t go into the future, but we can all look at
ourselves a year, 2, 3, 4 ago and think “what the hell was I thinking? I
had no idea”    It would be nice to be able to go into the
future and see what we are doing wrong now, but then again. Stop for a
minute and think… If I was looking at myself a year from now, what do I
think I would shake my head at? What is something I’ve been doing, or a
way I have been acting, thinking, living which come to think of it, I’ll
probably think of as childish and stubborn.

People who you think are stupid are probably smarter than
you, you just haven’t realized it yet. Think into the future and try to
figure out what you could improve in yourself so that a year from now you
wont look back and shake your head, you will be glad you had opened your
eyes.

December 4th, 2003

I feel bad for not thinking to advertise the Engineers
Without Borders show at Amigos but when I got there, judging by the
packed’ed’ness I would say it was a huge success!

I only caught

Good What Good
unfortunately, but I was very impressed by them. So…
the next time they play YOU should go see them too!

December 2nd, 2003

Edovarus ( “somewhere between Boy Sets Fire and Filter” )
is having a $5 beer night at Great Western and then playing a show at
Lydia’s on December 9th.

Whats better than an evening of cheap beer and a show? Anyone can come, so
get your friends together and just show up!

Great Western (519 2nd Ave N) 7-9pm

Edovarus at Lydia’s 10pm

DANCING

November 24th, 2003

You want to see the pictures of the show last night
don’t you?  Well you gotta wait till Monday night!

November 23rd, 2003

What a productive evening! Studied at school till 11pm,
caught The Pinch at Amigo’s, The Path of a Logical Liar and Dirtbred at
Wash ‘n Slosh and then went back to Amigo’s just in time to see Savage
Henry and The Pinch’s second set!

All the pictures will be up soon but I gotta rest up for
HOT HOT HEAT tonight!  See you there!

November 22nd. 2003

I took this last night at 1:30am. The air was filled
with “ice crystals” it seemed and that made all the lights shine straight
up!

November 20th, 2003

Check out

THREEOHSIX
and see all of the great shows on this weekend + The
Pinch is playing at Amigos on Saturday 22nd and they are also having
an open stage where anyone can come up and play (instruments
provided). Starts at 10:30pm, see you there!

Ryan’s stupid idea of the day:Today I was sitting
class and thinking about how many TENS of thousands of pages of
notes I have taken…and yet I never read them…

I said this to my friend Ross and he agreed, but then remarked
that at least it kept us awake during class. I agreed with this, but
also believe something better should come out of mindlessly copying
down notes from an overhead that I will never read…SOOO I decided
I am going to start taking notes with my left hand.  Sure it
will be difficult at first, but I’m sure with practice (see picture
on left) I will eventually become

ambidextrous
and some good will have come out of taking all of
these notes. I mean, its not like I learn from them anyways (I just
read the textbook), so I might as well be developing a cool skill so
I can say  “I can write with both hands, what the hell have you
done with your life?!”

For some reason I can’t add thumbnails to my website and
as usual I have a midterm tomorrow so I shouldn’t be worrying about it.
But you can still see a listing of the pictures of
Junior Pantherz and the
Wheatmonkeys

November 14th, 2003

Ever wanted to walk
around
down town Calgary for an afternoon?

So yes I am super lame and missed the Thursday Bassment
show because I was at school studying once again (all this studying better
pay off!) but I will be at the Louis’ show on Saturday with Junior
Panthers and The Wheatmonkeys on Saturday night so there!

November 13th, 2003

I went to the Remembrance Day ceremony on Tuesday at Sask
Place. Over 7000 people were there which was great!

Why did I go? (Yes, someone actually asked me that!)

For the same reason that I voted:   Because
people have died for what I take for granted…..

November 11th, 2003

I’m back!  Here are the friends and gnome pics and I
have a hundred more “photo” pictures coming soon!

November 7th, 2003

My midterms are finally over! (Except for the one I
have in another week and then finals two weeks later…)So that’s
why I haven’t been updating…and now…that midterms are over…you
will have to wait even longer cuz I’m going to Calgary for the
weekend!

If you voted on Wednesday I hope you find the note I left for my
parents funny cuz I sure do!

See you on Monday!  (I hear Samuel the Black Shaman is
playing at the Bassment….)

To carry you over through the weekend though I leave you with

THIS
funny flash cartoon about the end of the world I found.
Enjoy!  If it doesn’t work you’ll need
Shockwave Flash
Player.

November 4th, 2003

Ever thought about just how small we are in the big
picture?

Check out

THIS
site. It is very humbling.

I think anyone who thinks were are the only life out
there is selfish as hell if you think about how many other planets
there are out there.

I fixed the link for the
Mech Elec Pub Crawl
for anyone who hasn’t seen the gaggle of pictures yet.

November 3rd, 2003

So I went to see Dropkick Murphys with The
Casualties and The Disasters in Regina last night and… as you can
see from the awesome pictures I have above I wasn’t allowed to take
pictures because the band managers had asked Surreal to not allow
large SLR cameras in = everyone with a small disposable camera got
pictures but I couldn’t  :(

On the other hand though, this was actually the
first show I’ve been to in the last year where I didn’t have to
spend the whole time worrying about “the perfect shot”… punkoryan
got to “just enjoy the show” for once which was cool … but then
again I’d rather enjoy a show AND take pictures! oh well…

October 30th, 2003

WAAAAY back in September I did a “photo shoot” with
THE NIGHT LIFE for a
promo package and now *finally* here are the pictures!

punkoryan.com just moved over to a new server with threeohsix.org so if
any pictures or links aren’t working don’t worry they will be fixed in a
few days (I’m in midterms here!)

October 27th, 2003

Seeing as I have a midterm tomorrow I figured it would be perfect time
wasting to throw a dozen new pictures up in the
PHOTOS
section!  Check out Saskatoon by Day/Night, Flowers, &
Misc.   Enjoy.

October 25th, 2003

I haven’t updated my friends section in soooo long!  Luckily last
night was the biggest PUB
CRAWL
in Saskatoon history!

I shoulda studied for my 4 midterms I have left… but I’m photo
director for EE so I “had” to go…it was my responsibility! :)

October 24th, 2003

I was asked to put this up. I never heard of him, but if he was good
enough to be honored at a memorial, then maybe I should hear him:

Singer-songwriter Elliott Smith passed away on Tuesday, Oct.21st from a

self-inflicted stab wound. he was 34.

Anyone who’s seen “The Royal Tennenbaums” will recognize his distinct,
hauntingly beautiful song “needle in the hay” which accompanied the scene
in which Ritchie Tennenbaum attempts suicide.

The talented, dark acoustic musician was not always well-known, but he was
highly-respected, acclaimed by fans and critics alike for his music (he
wrote the Oscar-noted song “Miss misery” for “Good Will Hunting”), as well
as for his demeanor; he was known as a quiet, but open individual without
pretensions and with a real appreciation for everyone.

Fans of Elliott Smith (or just those who appreciate the efforts of an
honest musician) are invited to an informal gathering to pay their
respects to him at:

Vimy Memorial Bandshell

Saturday, Oct. 25th at approx. 3:00pm

(if anyone can bring portable speakers, or a portable stereo, it would be

very much appreciated. then we can listen to some of his music together in

the park.)

October 23rd, 2003

First off, if your a nerd like me and like to see the numbers of the
Saskatoon Election go

HERE
.  (I can’t believe Pankiw beat Maddin and almost beat
Zakreski!)

You may of heard about him in the news but there is
a guy in Regina who is running his own Saskatchewan Political
Opinion site that is starting lots of shit in the media. Even if you
don’t agree with his opinions, I think it is pretty cool that
someone is exercising free speech like this here in Saskatchewan.
Usually you just see sites like this in the states.

Well I suck and have to work on my SEVEN assignments that are due
Friday, so I’m not going to the show, but I voted!

the floor as this band played. (Or at least mine sure was!)

I
dually suggest that you make it to this show on Wednesday.

If
you want to hear some of their stuff go

Check them out.

October 19th, 2003

Notice the ticket # ……   (* “oooh

October 15th, 2003

I won’t have all the pictures from the Saskatoon show up
for a couple days (damn school!) but above is a taste.

And for all those who weren’t there
THIS is what you
missed….

A year ago I don’t think Saskatoon could have had such a
turn out (over 1500 tickets pre-sold + hundreds more at the door)

This last year “the scene” has grown soo much and I thank
www.threeohsix.org and Surreal
Productions and ALL YOU for coming out to the shows!   Remember
back  March 12th?

The other day my friend asked me “Why have we been getting
so many sweet shows lately?” … All I could say was:

“because it happened“

October 14th, 2003

AFI in Saskatoon is tonight!  There are still plenty
of tickets available at the door so go go go!

Here are some of the film pictures I took in Regina:

October 13th, 2003

I don’t know if Saskatoon is sold out or not, but if it
isn’t, and you don’t already have a ticket get off your ass and get a
ticket because you will be missing out on an “experience” to say the
least!

Here’s the set list, it will probably be the same in
Saskatoon, but who knows!

Miserai Cantare

Lost

Days of the Phoenix

Bleed Black

Ever & A Day

Ninja

Celluloid Dream

Morning Star

Leaving Song Part II

Silver and Cold

No Poetic

This Time Imperfect

Dancing through Sunday

Girl’s Not Grey

Total Immortal

Death of Seasons

God Called in Smith Today

And here are the pictures!   I shot off a two
rolls of film too so check those out tomorrow!

AFI and
Poison The Well
were absolutely amazing!   (Autopilot Off pics shall come later,
I’m tired!)

October 12th, 2003

I just found out at 8:27am this morning that I should have
a photo pass for both AFI shows! Check back here at like 3am – 4am Monday
morning and pictures will be up of the Regina show, otherwise see you
there!

October 10, 2003

That was fun!   Check out the pictures of
Death from Above and
The Paper *Kites

October 9th, 2003

For the love of God! If your shoelaces are too long SHORTEN THEM!
As I have illustrated above, if your shoelaces are too long, cut them to a
reasonable length and sear the ends!  It only takes a couple
minutes and you will save tons of time and effort in the long run!
THIS MEANS YOU!

What sparked this is a guy in one of my classes with the longest
shoelaces and they just hang down on the ground and he steps on them and
undoubtedly has to tie them several times a day. I think the reason I am
so bugged by this is because back in high school for a year I had
shoelaces that were far too long. Rather than doing something about it I
just let them drag, untie, catch on things, and inevitably ruin my life…
When it finally dawned on me that I should shorten them I felt like an
asshole for
having long shoelaces for such a long time.

Do I seem to be exaggerating here? Well… how many things in your life
have you improved on and now when you look at someone else with the same
fault as you had you can’t stand them?

A better example than shoelaces would be sitting on the bus with
elementary school “kids” (no offence)   I can’t stand hearing
them talk about stupid shit and use the word “like” every 2’nd or 3’rd
word, but I know that “I was like that when I was that age”

Growing up sucks – you end up hating everything…. oh God and I’m only
20!

October 8th, 2003

First off might I mention that it is 4 days till AFI in Regina and 6
days till AFI in Saskatoon!   *tick tick tick*

Secondly there are two really good shows on Thursday that you should
get your homework done early so you can go:

Ska-Punk Show!cablecarsuite

The Modules

The Couch Addiction

Samuel The Black Shaman

Where:

The Bassment

When:

Doors open at 6:00, Show at 7:00.

Price:

$6

…and Death from Above (the second band at the
Billy Talent show) are playing at Amigos with The Paper *KitesIf
you haven’t heard them they are really catchy punk with only one guy
on bass and one guy on drums. When I heard them I was like “I can’t
believe a band can sound this good without a guitar!”  If you
like dancy music like Hot Hot Heat check these guys out.

The Show is at Amigos and will probably be 9-10’ish or so and it
will certainly be a dancin’ show so come out (or go to the show at the
Bassment, whatever your fancy)

October 6th, 2003

Well as I promised dummy I’m putting my Beastie Boys –

SABOTAGE
parody video from Grade 12 drama back up! This isn’t the
final edit, but this reflects about 50 hours of filming/editing.

October 4th, 2003

So my funny story (and apology) is that I said on Monday that “you
should go to the Mayor debate at 1pm” but it was really at 11am. My friend
Andrew told me a dozen times that it was at 11am but I thought he was just
being an asshole and lying to me so that I would go to school early…
yeah

That’s not the funny part though. What’s funny is that I only caught
the last two minutes of the debate and then when it was done Global
television shoved a camera in my face and was like “Why did you come out
to see the debate today?”

“Because I want to be a responsible voter and come out to see the
people running for mayor so I can make a good decision”

The funny thing is that I missed the entire thing and then got on the
news to talk about watching it.  Ahh that’s the second time I’ve been
on the news now….

October 3rd, 2003

What sucks about film vs. digital is how long it freaking takes! …..
but its sooo cool!  I’ll have more pictures in a day or so. Anyways I
have a funny story but you’ll have to wait till about 6pm to hear it so
check back then.

October 2nd, 2003

Here is 400 Strong from
Last Night (being Wednesday) at The Bassment.  I also took pictures
of Blue Skies at War but they are on film *oooh ahhhh* so we’ll all have
to wait for those. (*fingers crossed*)

And I finally edited the pictures from last Tuesday so you can see the
pictures of Three Inches
of Blood
and Blue Skies
at War
again for the first time

Finally there is a “Mayor’s Debate” in lower place Riel tomorrow (Thursday)
at 1pm = You should go so you can become more educated on who is running for
Mayor of this city = You can vote responsibly!

September 23rd, 2003

Quite easily the smartest thing I have ever thought of…

Tired of carrying around a wallet AND your keys?  I sure was…until one
day I had the brilliant idea of putting a house key in my wallet!  Now, If
I need to drive I grab my “car keys” and for the rest of the time I just have my
wallet with a key in it.

I amaze myself sometimes. At this rate I estimate I’ll have world hunger
solved by next March….

September 22nd, 2003

September 21st, 2003

After so many punk and metal shows a good ol’
Rock Show is a great way to
spend a Saturday Night.

September 20th, 2003

It was a sad day…. The Last
E-Plant ever
…and it wasn’t even an E-Plant!  If you don’t know what
E-Plant was…you suck…. Every Year, for the last 18 years The Engineers have
kidnapped the Agro president, kept him/her drunk for 2 days straight and then
strapped them to a giant E.  Hundreds of Engineers paint then selves red,
and hundreds of Agros paint them selves blue and then all of the Engineers lock
arms and hold around the E while the Agros try to get their Presedent down from
it. For 15 minutes it is (was) the most amazing spectacle to watch as Red people
and Blue people push each other and try to break their way to the E.

By the end everyone is purple and then that night is HELL DANCE  (which
would be tonight for me!) and everyone gets drunk.  It is (was) the biggest
event on campus that brings everyone together and really makes all of the
Engineers and Agros feel like they belong to something.

Today was a “funeral” for E-Plant. There were 3 speeches, all the Engineers
were painted black instead of red, and then we carried the giant E back to the
Engineering building to cut it up :)

A lot of people (including very much me) were/ARE pissed off that this 18
year tradition has been forced to end due to “liability risks” but next year a
new tradition will start, and just like E-Plant, it will bring us all together!

September 19th, 2003

Ack! I’ve missed the last two shows! BUT!

Liberated noise w/ The decline and Tickletrunk
@ voodoo lounge
Saturday 9pm $5

You know We’re living in the Future when we can make
dogs talk!

September 18th, 2003

Ryan’s thought of the day:

Fatigue is Plaque spelled wrong…..

September 17th, 2003

Whew!  So the sign only cost $170 with tax, BUT it turned out to be half
the size of the original sign we broke so the owner kept $60 which was fair
because he paid over $200 for the old one. So $230/4= 60 bucks each…. not bad
for a night of theft and scavenging!

In other news,

Walter the Farting Dog is #1 on the

NYTimes
best selling children’s books!  That is so cool!

September 16th, 2003

So tonight was the Engineering Scavenger hunt. I layed down $500 collateral
to “borrow” the neon sign from Extreme Pita and …. when we went to plug in the
neon sign…. it was broken!  Somehow, somewhere, sometime in the evening
we accidentally broke the P in OPEN and so then we had to go back to Extreme
Pita and talk to the Manager. He wasn’t impressed. The Girl who was working
almost got fired too which certainly wasn’t cool either. Tomorrow I’m going to
Costco to buy a new sign for $350…. *tears*

On the bright side we won!  :)    TWO YEARS IN A ROW
UNDEFEATED!!!!

September 13th, 2003`

So I am typing this drunk on my fancy dancy new ìwireless
keyboardî that I got for $19 but that is no matter.

What does matter is that I am updating! The question to
that however would be ìwhy am I updating?î

A week ago I had nothing to update with. Untill a couple
days go it was just pictures of bands and thatís it. I wasnít pissed off at
anythingÖ I didnít have any opinionsÖ. Nor could I think of any ìcontentî for my
website aside from just the pictures of shows which I was even avoiding by just
putting up the ìjumblesî of pics.

Why in the last few weeks was I not ìrantingî as I did such
so much at the beginning of the summer?  Well the answer for that would be, as
with the downfall of any man, ìa girlî

Yes she made me happy and with that came the demise of any
annoyed, disappointed, ranted thought that may of otherwise been typed out and
read by you.

Itís like nothing pissed me off anymore. I couldnít think
of one thing to write about. Nothing made me ìthinkî. It was just all about
ìherî.  Of course none of this would come to me as a surprise, as this has
happened to me time and time again. Women seem to have that effect on men. (Eg,
Noticed Nolto hasnít updated in FOREVER! He has a girlfriend now)

Girls always change guys. They abandon all of the things
they hold dear (hobbies, ìguy friendsî, partying, sports, etc) just for ìherî
like she has some kind of mind control spell on you.

Not that this is a bad thing. Itís just the way it always
works. Needless to say by what I am writing now that there no longer is ìthis
girlî anymore for punkoryan and by the next day I already had thought of 5 rants
to write about.  When I say ìIím backî I mean more than I am home. I mean I am
back to the way I was a couple months ago, and I will be that way again until
someone else comes along, and then Iíll forget about everything else in my life
again, just as any guy does, and always willÖ.

Damn felinesÖ

September 12, 2003

“You can pay me back”

I am going to Mexico for Spring Break in February and I need to have $1600 saved
by then.

I was thinking about all of the money owed to me from the times I said “oh you
can just pay me later” and then I started adding all of the I.O.U.’s together…
its over a thousand bucks!

In one way I could be mad for being so “nice” all the time and having all this
money owed to me, but another way of thinking of it is that in the last year I
have almost saved enough for a trip to Mexico by simply telling people they can
pay me back later…

Wow! Saving money is easy! :)

September 11th, 2003

I wrote something about how today is…well today…but I’m sure you’ll be
hearing enough about it in the news, tv, radio so I’ll just say. May they all
rest in peace.

So remember back in early august when I entered in the EXhibition photo
contest?  Well I got an honorable mention for one of my pictures of Calgary
AND I also won the Phase II Photo award too (a $50 gift certificate!)  The cool thing though is that I took the
picture when we were stopped at a red light! I just rolled down the window,
snapped, and it turned out perfect! You never know….

I also *finally* edited and organized all of the pictures of
Bouncing Souls,
Hot Water Music,
The Forgotten and
Worthless United

Enjoy!

September 10th, 2003

No this isn’t a ticket giv’a’way…  my friends and I are going to AFI in
Saskatoon and Regina! (and if all goes well I will have a photo pass for both
too!)

In the event you are like “i’m an idiot and didn’t know AFI was coming”….
AFI is coming…. you should go to
www.threeohsix.org
more….

ALSO if you think “why isn’t Ryan putting much effort into his site lately”
well lets just say I’ve been enjoying a vacation away from consistently updating
my site. However on the downside I have fallen behind on many things related to
it… for one:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY  punkoryan.com !!!     I forgot to
mention that my site is now 1 year old and I’ve lost count of how many bands are
on here but its around 120 me thinks!

In other news… there is sooo much news…. I’m back, lets just say that!

I also spent FOREVER editing and thumb nailing 306FEST!  SOOOOOO check
out the BANDS section and see
all of the pictures again for the first time of
Away from Here ,
Best kept Secret,
Burning Sophie,
Kevin Walby,

Jumble #2 of
Saturday night 306FEST
Enjoy!

August 30th, 2003

Yet another mad Jumble (I really gotta catch up and start organizing these!)
of Friday night
306Fest

August 28th, 2003

Tomarow is:

Who’s playing?

I’ll be there taking a ridiculus amount of pictures and you better be there too!!!

If you wonder why I haven’t been updating much its because it is my last few days of summer and I’ve been enjoying them! And you should be too!!

Soooo…. go for a bike ride, go to Cranberry Flats, go for a walk by the river, go get a slurpy, go watch the pelicans at the wier, go for a walk downtown, lay in your backyard and get a tan, get a ladder and go on the roof of your house and try to see your friend’s houses, go to the Zoo (no not the bar), go to a bar with a padio, set the dinner table outside and eat supper on the deck, walk in grass in bare feet, find your old Super Soaker and get your friends wet, get yourself wet, drive 10 mins out of town and look at the stars at night, go see a movie at the Sundown drive-in, go out for desert on the Earls Padio, go to pike lake for a day (night?), take some pictures, drive around with the windows down, go to Kinsmen Park, make a rainbow with a gardenhose, wash your car yourself with a bucket and a rag, always wear sunscreen :)

Remember just because your time is running out doesn’t mean you don’t have time at all….

August 24th, 2003

Last night it was raining so I decided to watch a DVD. All of the players were signed out and the big screen DVD was being used as well.

I was going to just watch TV but then I remembered that it was Bingo night and the grand prize is a DVD player. I only had enough money to buy one card so I was like “I’m going to go win a DVD player so I can watch a movie”….and I did!

It was funny because all the other people had 8 cards lined up and were going hardcore and I just came in with 1 card, and when I had one square left to fill I was like “come on 0-66” and then it was drawn!

This just goes to prove that if you think long and hard enough about balls they will find their way into the small hole…hehe

August 22nd, 2003

I’m up North again for my LAST WEEK so I won’t be updating for a couple days
= get off the computer and get outside while summer is still here!

August 21st, 2003

Bouncing Souls in Regina was awesome!

If you want to see the mad jumble of pictures of Bouncing Souls, Hot Water

I’ll edit, organize, and thumbnail tomorrow!

Sleeeeeeeep….

August 20th, 2003

I’m finally done. Today is my 4 year anniversary of “working for the clown”
and last night was my last shift ever :(   I will miss working there.
As much fun as people may make of working at McDonalds it was a really fun job
where I made literally over a hundred friends and always had fun when I worked.
I’ll end it with a poem I wrote for Grade 11 English:

Dream Job

Nuggets are up,

drop some fries.

We’re waiting on quarter meat,

Would you like that Supersized?

The smell of ketchup,

All of the free smiles.

The slosh of the mop,

On the reddish brown tiles.

The constant orders,

Drive through time.

There’s a spill in the lobby,

Every customer complains and whines.

Working ’til Midnight,

Soon I get my break.

Can never sit down,

Gotta fill the chocolate shake

Why do I work at McDonalds,

You might find it funny,

Thank you have a nice day,

I do it for the money!
August 18th, 2003

Last night I got “hired” to take pics of The Night Life. They are a new band

August 13th, 2003

I know, I know. Wow. 5 days without updating. I thought I was dead too!

If you wanna know why I haven’t been updating it is because I have been working 7am – 7pm then spending 3 hours each night after work building my

Yes, the secret is out. punk -o- ryan is a nerd, but the Kilobot competition is on August 24th and I gotta get this thing done!

You can finally listen to the 6 new Metallica CD
Intros

July 28th, 2003

Can’t say I’ve ever been a “fan” of Metallica. Not to say I don’t like them, but for some strange reason, despite the fact that every time I heave heard them I’ve liked them, I have never bought or even listened to a whole Metallica CD. Of course I have heard Enter Sandman, but that is the only Metallica song I could name.

When I saw that “WOW there is a new Metallica CD out” I was weary as always because “all bands sell out and sound like crap eventually”. I figured their last album (having not even heard it) sounded lame so this must be worse.

Still I asked one of my friends at Future Shop if the new CD St.Anger was any good. Matt said that there had been mixed feelings from customers about the CD. Andrew told me that a customer returned the CD “because it sucked”. I asked if that was allowed and he said no, but the customer made such a fuss and got the manager involved so they actually returned an opened CD. (The asshole probably burned it first.)

ANYWAYS! I asked why the customers didn’t seem to like it and Matt said that it was because “it sounded like their old Master of Puppets stuff”. I immediately went to the headphones and listened to the CD. I am always amazed when a band goes “back to their old stuff” so I gave it a listen. I was hooked! The CD player only let you listen to the first 30 seconds of each track but I was so impressed with the Intros that I bought the CD completely based on first impression.

If you want to hear the same Intros I did listen to
THIS
sound clip I made.If you like what you hear, read on. Otherwise go look at this picture of an old mans
ASS.

Now this CD has been out for a while now, but I didn’t know about it till a week ago when I bought it. Like I said it sounds like “their older stuff” which I really like (perhaps the reason I wasn’t a “fan” of Metallica was because their latest stuff didn’t appeal to me).

The coolest thing I think about it (which is what sparked this rant-eview ) is that the CD comes with a DVD which is the video of the band playing during the recording of the CD.

The Album (named St.Anger) was recorded in a “room” with 3 camera guys filming the band playing. Rather than the typical super fancy sound stage with soundproof booths, headphones, and mic screens, the album is Metallica “just playing” (or “jamming” I guess you could say).

It sounds like they would if they were playing live (without the screaming crowd or echo) and I really like that. You can even hear the lead singer James Hetfield ( breathing on the mic which is unheard of with major label recordings. The concept of a huge band trying to sound like they are being recorded in someone’s basement is thrilling to me. (or maybe I’m just too easily exited)

Watching the DVD, there is the exact same Audio but you can see how much energy the band has when they play. I watched the DVD first and it helped give a “face” to the music, which made listening to the CD more enjoyable.

Now hopefully as you read this you are listening to the sound clip I made (if not click above you lazy shit). Being a fan of more hardcore-metal-fastpunk-etc I am a huge fan of the guitar and drums on this album. I was VERY surprised at the originality and catchy’ness of each song (once again I was expecting the Album to suck and got quite the opposite).

The Intros “sound like their old stuff” and have a Slayer intensity (double kick drum, head banding sound) to them which is why I bought the CD. Lyrically the album is “what I would expect from Metallica” having not really known their music that much anyways. Some tracks just have the typical “mindless rock” lyrics ( “shoot me again I ain’t dead yetÖ” ) but for the most part the music and fact that the James Hetfield has an awesome voice makes up for any downfall in the CD.

Each track is 6 to 9 minutes long with a total playing time of over 75 minutes in 11 tracks. All this with a DVD packaged in for $14.99 you can’t go wrong, and Hey, even if you don’t like the rest of the songs after the intros think about how most punk songs are only 2 mins. So by the time the intro is over you can skip to the next track your still better off than most punk albumsÖ

I guess if youíre a “fan” you will have already bought the CD. If your like me and you like what you hear with the intros go buy a real CD for once and make it the new Metallica CD (Fuck I sound like I’m being payed here don’t I! Ö. Maybe I’ll just feel better about “buying” a CD rather then burning it if I can get other people to buy it tooÖ)

July 25th, 2003

Along with GeorgeStock you should also somehow manage to go to:

You could be Ultra (yes Ultra) cool and do GeorgeStock Saturday and Wakeboarding Sunday.

Thats what I would do….. alas…

July 24th, 2003

I finally did it.  On August 18th it will be my 4 year anniversary of “workin’
for the Clown” and my last day.

McDonalds, though not a very prestigious job, certainly was fun to work at.
Everyone was the same age as me, I made over 100 friends, and the hours were
always super flexible. I would certainly want my children to work (at a place
like) McDonalds because it was a really good job to have while in school, but 4
years is enough and I have 3 jobs right now so goodbye McDonalds!

If you haven’t heard about it yet GO TO GEORGE STOCK!

go to http://www.gstock.vze.com/ for
more info.  Basically on Saturday drive 20 mins out on the South Highway to
Regina and you’ll see signs.  It is 16 bands for $8 = 50cents a band and
they are all really good local (and one non local) bands. Check out the website
for more info and go have a good time!

As for me. I leave on a plane to go back up North for a week in 8 hours so
I’m going to bed!  If you have a digital (or film+scanner) camera take lots
of pictures and send them to me! (I’ll post them with your super cool name
beside them!)

July 23rd, 2003

Last night I went and saw Bowling for Columbine and it absolutely blew me
away.  I started an applause at the end of it because it was so amazing and
thought provoking. It was the first movie I have seen in way too long that I
walked out of happy. Of course it is more of a documentary than a movie but if
you haven’t seen this movie GO SEE IT.  It is playing at Rainbow Cinemas @
9:30pm all week for only $3.    It hasn’t been released on video
yet so this is your only way to see it and for $3 its cheaper than renting so GO
GO GO!  Call some friends and see it. You wont be disappointed.

If you have or haven’t seen it check out Michael Moore’s website
http://www.michaelmoore.com/
it has some interesting articles etc.

That’s all I have to say about that.

July 22nd, 2003

I know what your wondering. What was that “Super Secret Basement Show” I saw
on the threeohsix calendar for Monday night?   Well I wondered the
same and then I found out it was two bands playing in “the setaside house
basement”.  There were only two bands and they were both from out of town
(one was from Calgary). It was a pretty cool little “super secret show” in a
basement. Bringing my # of shows I’ve seen in a basement to two!

The Pictures of The Buzzing
Bees
and Fallen Year are in the
bands section as well all of the “organized” pictures of the Friday night show
are in the bands section and I edited all the pictures to make them look not
crappy so go look at them all again for the first time!

One last thing. I am at 98 bands on my site now (and this site isn’t even a
year old yet….) so the question is “who will be my 100th band” ?

July 21st, 2003

So Friday night after the show I get home, throw up the “jumble” of pictures
and crawl into bed. …. what’s this?….I feel my foot twitching…but I’m not
moving my foot….  I turn on the light and I see a freaking mouse running
between my feet!!!  THERE IS A MOUSE IN MY BED!!! AHHHHH!!!  I run
upstairs, get a trap and some rat poison and set them in my room then sleep
upstairs in my brothers’ bed (he’s in BC for the summer).

From then on I say “I’m not sleeping in my room till I find a dead mouse!”
…. well…. my wish came true.  I get home from work yesterday and throw
my bag on my bed. An hour later I take the bag off and lift up the covers and
low and behold there is a little squished mouse under my sheets!  EWWWWW!
I guess it was hiding there and I squished it with my bag.  Needless to say
I washed all my sheets and mattress, as well I am not sleeping in my room till I
vacuum and clean EVERYTHING in my room.

It is amazing how something so small and harmless can be so TERRIFYING!!!

Back to Business. The videos from Friday night can be seen
HERE so if you want to see Adam get shocked all over
again or see the videos with TERRIBLE sound then check it out!
The “organized” pictures will come tomorrow. (Betcha’ can’t wait!)

July 19th, 2003

If your dying to see all the pictures right now from the show I have them in
an unorganized JUMBLE.   I’ll organize
them and post the dozen videos I took tomorrow.

Sleep now.

I just got back from up North OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH its
soooooo good to be home!

There are TWO yes count ’em TWO SHOWS TONIGHT!

#1

Poster Event date

scratchatstars
2003-07-18 09:00
Subject : Sparky, Polk,
GoodSamPark, The Soccer Moms
Description :

The Bassment

245 3rd ave s

$6 at the door.

Show at 8:00pm

This is a show to help our Production Group get started. We want to have
stability in the shows that we promote, and so that we can get bigger and
better shows into Saskatoon.

Though I haven’t ranted about it yet threeohsix has finally sold
out and is now going to become a “real web magazine” and a production company
which is actually a good thing because the money made putting on shows will go
back into putting on big shows so now rather than a band skipping Saskatoon and
going just to Regina we can be like “we guarantee you this much money if you
play in Saskatoon”.  What does this all mean? –> GO TO THE SHOW!!!

#2.

If your super cool like me you will go to both because the
Amigo’s show wont start till 11:30 – midnight’ish so see you there!

If you want to see some more pictures of the lake click
HERE otherwise read on and wonder why
I think about this stuff….

Today’s thoughts continue on about what I
said a couple weeks ago about Causality.

Remember when I talked about how I think if
I went to the Baseball game I would have changed the order of events and that
guy wouldn’t have been hit in the face with the baseball. (See June ramblings
*bottom).

Remember I said how Terminator 3 was
disappointing but the ending made me think.

Ok, so first off. Am I selfish for believing
that I could have prevented something from happening by being there? The way I
was thinking was that everything that occurs in life is a fragile order of
events that is extremely easily altered and the future (or projected order of
events) is constantly changing as we change our minds on what we are going to
do.

Here are two things to think about that
would be similar to what the baseball game I didn’t go to.

(If you didn’t read what I said then in a
testishell: A guy got hit in the face with a baseball at a game I had decided to
not play in. I wondered if I had gone to the baseball game would my presence had
altered the chain of events and the guy have not been hit)

If you remember your grade 10 history a
Serbian nationalists shot The Archduke of Austria-Hungary in “the shot heard
round the world” back in June 1914 and that is said to be the spark that started
the first world war which then lead to the second world war.

Now letís create a character. Letís call him
Bill. Letís say Bill was usually a punctual guy and always liked to get to
events on time. Bill was going to be at the
PARADE
that The Archduke was going to be in but something happened.
(Let’s say he stopped to tighten his shoes) and because of that he missed
being able to stand in a good position to see The Archduke of Austria-Hungary.

Now instead of Bill being in that
good viewing position, The Serbian nationalists got the good spot, which allowed
him to be close enough to shoot The Archduke of Austria-Hungary and be “the shot
heard round the world”.

So now the question: Was “the shot heard
round the world” fragile enough to be affected by Bill not tightening his
shoelaces? Let’s say Bill hadn’t stopped and he had got the good viewing spot
and The Serbian nationalists was forced to stand in a different spot which
prevented him from being able to shoot The Archduke of Austria-Hungary. The
Serbian nationalists was on a mission and still may have tried to jump out and
shoot The Archduke of Austria-Hungary but maybe someone else may have jumped in
the way or grabbed the gun away from him and then The Serbian nationalists would
have gone to jail and it never would have happened.

Hooray for Bill! He stopped the First (and
Second) World War from happening! Did he know it?

Does the war never happen? Or is the War,
the “big thing” INEVITABLE? If the “shot heard round the world” hadn’t of
sparked the war would something else have later? Just like with the Terminator
movie. Judgment day was never stopped, it was just postponed because it was
inevitable. Do you think the events leading to the First World War were fragile?
Or would it have happened no matter what the events, just postponed. There are a
million essays about “the powder keg of Europe” and how Europe was just waiting
to go to war and just needed a spark. So even though the war may have still
happened later it was still postponed which would completely change history
because something else would have started it. A shoelace did it all.

Next example. Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated
J.F.K. with a rifle from the window of a warehouse. Now lets say Bill’s
grandson, Bill Junior had stopped to tighten his shoe and therefore lost the
good viewing spot he wanted so instead he decided to go up inside the warehouse
to get a better view of the president. Lee Harvey Oswald hears Bill Junior
coming so he runs away and now Hooray for Bill Junior! He stopped J.F.K. from
being assassinated!

Or did he? Lee Harvey Oswald once again was
on a mission. He was capable of doing it before, so maybe he would have just
waited till the next parade and succeeded then. Or maybe Bill Junior would have
kicked Lee’s ass, called the police and stopped it all together.

So now am I still selfish for thinking I
would have prevented that guy from being hit in the face with the baseball? We
don’t realize what effect we have on peoples lives even though they don’t notice
it. Then again, do we effect people’s lives? Or is everything that happens bound
to happen inevitably? Am I a hero just like Bill?  …… or should I just
shut up because I have no idea what I am talking about….. if you read this far
then your stupid enough to have read it so you can’t say anything. HA!

If you want to see some pictures I took here up North at my summer job click
HERE.
.

I have a rant…but due to some historical inacuracies it must be rewritten so pictures is all you get (and probably care about anyways)

Oh yeah, listen to HOT HOT HEAT ! I just started listening to them yesterday and I’m hooked so you should be too!

June 14th, 2003

Well I had a rant and pictures that I took of the lake up here that I was going to upload but they were on a floppy disk and surprise surprise the disk is corrupted.
It’s hard to believe that floppy disks were once the main form of file transfer and now I wouldn’t trust any data on them.

Enough nerd talk. I’ll update at noon.

June 13th, 2003

Work is life

Whenever I talk to an older person who has been working two or
three times longer than I have been alive it really puts my life into
perspective.

I have worked 5 different jobs in my 20-year life so far. I
still work at 3 of them, but I will be quitting good ‘ol McDonalds in August so
I can focus on school and my summer job ends in August too just leaving me with
my Hewlett Packard Rep job on the weekends.

Whenever you ask a person “what they have done” in their life
they always list off the jobs they have worked. “I worked at this place for 10
years and then I did this for 4 years and now I’ve been at this job for the last
8”. We spend a 1/4 of our life working (40hrs/week divided by 168hrs/week) and
yet when people think quickly back on their lives “what they have done” is their
jobs.

No one ever says “I went to the lake 96 times, Disneyland 4
times, and Mexico and Hawaii twice” or “I met 12856 people, made love to 4
different woman, married one, and have known 627 different phone numbers”.

Though most of you reading this aren’t “old” yet, think
about what you would say, “you have done” in your life not counting work.

Where have you lived, travelled, been? Who have you met,
befriended, seen? What is the most important thing you have done? How many
people in your life have you helped in any way?

One of the best things I ever read was from “Being Calvin” by
Casper Neurotic:

“If you life was a book, would you bother reading it?”

June 12, 2003

Well if your wondering why I haven’t updated in a while its because I’m back up North again for my summer job. However on the bright side I have tons of time to write and take pictures so I’ll be updating lots this week (I already have three rants on the go)…and here is one.

I am insulted a lot by movies and advertisements that think I
am an idiot. For example the picture above illustrates how to use the page
lifter AND explains in words how to put your finger in a hole and lift! Why
bother wasting ink explaining how to do something that is obvious?

I would hope that if you are capable of reading the
instructions for something as simple as that you are capable of figuring things
out!

I guess this also comes to the idea of “reading the manual”.
How often have you jumped to “some assembly required” without reading the
instructions? In the case where there may be confusion on how to do something
then instructions are useful and should be provided but when something is
blatantly obvious in how to do it then why waste ink and time printing
instructions?

Perhaps companies have to do it to cover their own ass in case
someone gets hurt.

What really bothers me though is movies where the dialogue
leaves nothing to the imagination. Like when the characters completely explain
everything in the movie to the point where I am insulted because it seems they
think I can’t figure anything out. I think the best movies are the ones that
after you watch them you can discuss with your friends what you got out of it and
what your interpretation is of what happened and what was said. (Watch the movie
K-PAX, it is about a guy who says he is an alien and the great thing is that
even in the end you are still not sure because it is up to you to think about
what happened and what was said)

Lately I haven’t seen any movies in the theatres that do that
(leave it up to us to figure things out). Maybe Hollywood thinks we’re idiots,
or maybe they have made us into idiots because of
it.

A sad day for men everywhere.

July 8th, 2003

So then the question begs to be asked…. was Terminator 3 worth my $9  ???

I just asked what should have been the last question first but in case you
hate me and don’t want to read my opinions on the new Terminator movie (or want
to judge for yourself) then all you need to know is:

YES IT IS WORTH THE MONEY TO GO SEE IT IN THE SUPER EXPENSIVE THEATER.

Now two more questions come up:

#1 Why is it worth seeing at all?  #2 Why would there be any doubt?

To start. This is by far THE most action packed movie to date. There are only
two parts in the movie where there isnít stuff blowing up and that is because
they are driving in the desert (but during one of the scenes Arnoldís battery
starts leaking and so he throws it out the window and it blows up = you pretty
much donít get a break during the movie)

I spent the majority of the movie waiting for it to slow down actually. T3
certainly breaks from the tradition of intro
‡
problem
‡ rising action

‡ climax
‡ resolution.

The movie just jumps right into it with you meeting the ìoldî John Conner and
seeing heís a bum and then the T-X comes in and starts killing everyone.

The action never stopped and as good as that is, it took a lot away from what
I think could have been a better movie. There was 99% focus on action and
special effects and it seems like they cut corners when it came to the actual
ìmovieî.

The actors, directing, and dialogue were very disappointing. You would think
if youíre spending $170 million on a movie you can invest in making the stuff in
between the explosions worth while. To put it short T3 wasnít anywhere near as
serious as T2.

There were many pointless attempts to make the audience laugh by doing
parities of T2 which indeed were funny but took away from the seriousness of
what was happening in the movie.

My next complaint was of the music. Now maybe it just wasnít turned up
enough, but in T2 the soundtrack and original score really added to the movie by
adding suspense and appropriate effects.  None of the original T2 score was used
except during the credits and once again that took away from the seriousness of
the movie.

I guess you can say that a lot has changed in movies in the 12 years since
the 1991 T2. It seems now the ìblock busterî movies are more about action and
less about ìaction + movieî. Donít get me wrong. I love action movies and
Terminator 3 is certainly one of the best action movies to date, but I was
expecting it to be done as well (if not better) than T2 and that just isnít the
case.

Several times during the movie you could pick out blatant advertising ìplugsî
like a Semi truck being pulled over with Xenadrine plastered all over it. This
was an obvious plug and took away from the seriousness. Like I said, for $170
million I was expecting more of a ìmovieî and less of an ìaction-cash grabî.

Now after all of these complaints your probably wondering why I originally
said T3 was worth seeing in theater. Well once again it is the most action
packed movie to date (with the expense of the action taking away from what
should have been a legacy). The story, though dry, does have some VERY
unexpected twists and Iím not going to say anything but I was very surprised
where the story went so Iím not going to bash the story itself, but I think the
story could have been told a lot better with better acting and dialogue.

Would I go see it in the theater twice? No.  That is simply
because there wasnít anything more to the movie than action.   Iíll admit the
ending did ìmake me thinkî but I didnít leave the theater with a sense of
satisfaction that I was hoping to get. I guess I was just setting my self up for
disappointment by thinking it would be as awesome as T2, but then again, after
seeing T2 wouldnít you at least ìhopeî the sequel would measure up?
Go see the movie but don’t be mad at me if your disapointed (hey you may want to
go see it 5 times because it blew you away!)

As for me…. I think Iím going to go watch T2 againÖ..

The weener’est dog I have ever seen!

July 6th, 2003

Well FINALLY all 217 pictures and 16 videos are in the
BANDS section. Enjoy!
*NOTE: If the videos don’t work then come back tomorrow and I will have fixed
them.

My Photo Pass allowed me to take pictures of any band for the first two songs
(after 2 songs they kicked all the photographers out because there were too many
crowd surfers falling on us). I tried to get 1 min of video of each band too,
but as usual the mic on my camera really sucks, but its better than nothing!

This was by far the best Warped Tour for me. I got to be up close for every
band and do what I love most –> Take pictures!

There were 6 other people with Photo Passes which made me feel special. I was
able to go behind stage too, but there wasn’t really anything back there but
busses and sound equipment.

Tom also updated with his “experience” of Warped and the pictures from
my
trip
are in the Friends section.

Sleep now….

July 5th, 2003

I haven’t thumb nailed the pictures of Warped Tour 2003 yet but if you can’t
wait to see the pictures then just look at the
FOLDERS.

Why haven’t I thumb nailed them yet? Well I was out having too much fun at
the Skuzz and then taking the
Gnomes that Gordon stole out on the town.
(Don’t worry, we’re returning them with the pictures of their (“adventure”)

July 4th, 2003

Pictures of the “trip” are up.
Bands will come later tonight / tomorrow.

Enjoy!
