If you can imagine 150,000 people dead and millions without food, water, or
shelter then please donate whatever you can to the many relief efforts for South
Asia. If you have no idea what I am talking about then you should pick up
a newspaper, turn on the radio or watch the news on TV! One dollar out of
your pocket can save a child half the world away.

So you know when I am not updating band pictures? Well that is usually
because I am busy taking pictures of other things!
I have finally updated the
PORTFOLIO section. It will
always be a “work in progress” and since I have created this I have taken a
zillion more pictures but you get the idea.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!
December 24th, 2004
Remember back in July when I wrote a rant about how we always wait until
someone is gone or leaving to find that “perfect picture” of someone? Well I
decided to take my own advice and had 429 pictures printed to give all my
friends for Christmas!

Things to be thankful for:
A peaceful country to live in, clean drinking water, easily accessible cheap
food, power for our houses and street lights, a refrigerator to keep our food
from spoiling, a roof to keep us dry and insulated walls to keep the heat in,
heat, free television and a choice of what channels you want to watch, if your
reading this you have access to the internet, if you have used a phone today you
are pretty lucky, if it was a cell phone that is pretty convenient, if you have
listened to music today that is pretty cool, if you got to choose what kind of
music you listened to today that is even better, if your lights turn on with a
flick of a switch and only go out when the bulb burns out you should be pretty
happy, if you have one jacket for when it is really cold out and another “light
jacket” for summer that is pretty cool that you can be out side and be
comfortable, if you aren’t dying of
breast-lung-prostate-bladder-colin-brain-skin-intestinal-or-blood cancer, aids,
crones, Alzheimer’s, heart disease, diabetes, stroke, or just simple old age you
are pretty damn lucky though I bet you know someone who isn’t as lucky this
Christmas, if your house hasn’t burned down with your entire family inside you
have a lot to be thankful for, if your parents don’t beat you and your
parents/teachers care about what kind of marks/attendance you get in school you
are luckier than some, if you smoke-drink-drugs-gamble-bar-or go to shows you
are pretty lucky to not have anything more important to put your money towards
like having enough food to feed your children, if your ate
today-yesterday-everyday you should say grace every time before you eat, if you
have ever traveled farther than the city you live in that is pretty adventurous
compared to a lot of people, if there is foam or springs in your mattress when
you sleep you must be pretty comfortable, warm sheets are even better, its also
pretty nice to not have to worry about being awaken in the middle of the night
by bombs falling, or bullets firing, I like listening to the radio and watching
the news and reading the newspaper to hear what is going on in my city and in
the world around me, carpet and linoleum is much better than dirt or cement and
if you have socks they keep cleaner too, if you got your “shots” back in
elementary school for various diseases that many children die of in other
countries it is worth the scar, if you have ever voted or look forward to being
able to vote next election you should be proud, if you like sports it sure is
nice to have the equipment to play with, if you enjoy hiking and driving its
nice to not have to worry about land mines, its nice to have fruit in the winter
and ice cubes in the summer, if you have a job, two jobs, or three jobs you make
a lot more money than the people who make the the things you buy, if you hurt
yourself you can go to the hospital and be helped for free, if you hurt yourself
really badly an ambulance will come and give you a ride to the hospital so you
don’t have to walk, if you have friends, family, or loved ones to be with this
Christmas you are incredibly lucky, if you know someone who doesn’t have anyone
to be with on Christmas you should invite them to be a part if your
family/friends during the holiday season., etc, etc, etc
You shouldn’t give thanks on Christmas day any more than you should give
thanks every other day of your life. Although we all may have some “have nots”
in our list of life it is the things we do have that we should be
thankful for.

Pictures are up of Fury and
the Mouse and Parades Against
Parades.
So I had a customer yesterday ask me what the smallest radio we
had was. I, as normal, pointed to the smallest radio as the customer seemed to
be incapable of judging the size of objects for some reason. The customer then
told me that the reason she needed the radio to be small was because her
daughter was taking her to Church on Christmas Eve…..

Customers, customers, asshole customers. It is time again for my annual “I
hate being a salesman during Christmas”. I can’t tell if people are
illiterate or just too freaking lazy to read but all I do is tell people what if
they spent half a second thinking and reading could figure out for themselves.
I know a lot of people reading this work retail and will agree that customers
don’t think. They become instant sheep once they have to purchase something. It
is a challenge when I am helping a customer not make eye contact with another
for fear that they will try to steal me away from the customer I am helping
because “I’m the most important person in the world and if I don’t get
service and common sense given to me I will get really angry and then I will get
really angry anyways because you won’t price match another place that has it for
cheaper but doesn’t have it in stock”
When it is super busy during Christmas I always feel like a norm in a room
full of mindless zombies. They all want at your brains and stand and stare
blindly and wanting until you look at them and say “I can help you in a second
once I’ve finished this sale [and this sale and this sale and this sale]”.
It’s endless. I’ve started to resent human beings and drink more to
compensate. As I get older Christmas feels less and less like “Christmas”
and I think that is because I have always been so busy during it. Tonight
I forced myself to watch Christmas with the Kranks and even though it
wasn’t that good, it was nice to just sit down and watch a Christmas movie. And
of course like any Tim Allen movie there is a message. Christmas is about
giving. For me it is the only thing that makes me feel like it is Christmas and
lets me forget about all the asshole customers.

I just realized that the last time I redesigned my website was December of
last year. That is pretty cool.
Anyways, I have been working on other sections of this site and taking a lot
of pictures of non-band related stuff which you all will eventually see.
There are a couple shows next week so check ’em out.
December 6th, 2004
Well I have been working like crazy on this site for the last week and
I hope you’ll all be pleased. The bands section is redone and all of the
thumbnails and links have been updated. There are a few new pictures in the
Photo section with lots to come, as well as the friends section has had a huge
update.
The Waste section is now a links section and worth a look. I have added a
shows section where I will have posers and dates for shows as well links to
places to find shows. (if you ever have a poster for a show e-mail it to me and
I will post it)
Finally there is a portfolio section which will be up in the next couple
days. It is going to be a section for my best work. I shoot
A LOT of non band related stuff (eg. sports) and so now it will have a place to
go.
Oh yeah and there are 12 new banners up top so click refresh a few dozen
times. Enjoy!
December 2nd, 2004
No new pictures but I made it easier to find old pictures by spending over 20
hours fixing all of the links and galleries in the BANDS
section. So go back in time and enjoy the new grand total of 221 bands all over
again….221 bands…wow.
