Get a video tour of Exercise DESERT RAM at CFB Wainright. A replica of Kandahar Air Field has been set up to train over 4,000 Canadian Soldiers for deployment to Afghanistan in February. The base is set up to be just like the real thing to prepare the soldiers. There are mock Afghani villages, actors portraying villagers and surprise attacks to keep solders on their toes.
