Animal Health Technician Sandy Helliker with the Edmonton Valley Zoo
holds two unnamed newborn red pandas born Tuesday June 26 2007. The red
panda is an endangered species native to the Himalayas in India, Nepal
and southern China, and is not related to giant pandas. Ryan

Edmonton Journal and some of the photographers bugged me because I won a
2005 Feature Picture of the Year with a bee picture. So now that I’ve
gotten front page with another bee picture I’ll have to wait a whole
year before I can shoot bees again!

graffiti artwork project on the side of a local strip mall, 76 Grosvenor
Blvd. in St. Albert Friday. Simpson art teacher Judy Smallwood
approached owners of the strip mall with her proposal: she would provide
the student talent to paint a gigantic stretch of graffiti artwork if
the owners of the mall provided the paint. The owners agreed and a
unique student artwork project, which will see hundreds of feet of the
