House of Refuge Mission

The mission, located at 10339A 95 St. in Edmonton is a downtown soup kitchen that serves between 100 and 300 people every night for dinner. Alberta Health Services has shut down the kitchen for contravening health and safety regulations. Volunteers that run the mission do not deny they are in violation but say they are worried about the homeless who depend on the service for sustenance.
